Description
A COMPLETE SET OF TESTS THAT CHECK: • Deamidated gliadin antibodies of IgG class — immune response to modified gliadin peptides • Total Immunoglobulin A (IgA) — overall IgA level, to detect IgA deficiency • Tissue transglutaminase (tTG) antibodies (IgA) — autoantibodies against the enzyme tTG WHAT THIS TEST SUITE REVEALS: • Whether immune system is producing antibodies to gluten (gliadin) — indicator of gluten sensitivity or celiac disease • If IgA deficiency is present — which can lead to false negative results in IgA-based tests • Presence of antitissue transglutaminase (tTG IgA) — a more specific marker for celiac disease • Combined interpretation helps distinguish between celiac disease, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and IgA deficiency cases • Helps guide whether further diagnostic steps (intestinal biopsy, diet trial) are needed
